
Friends of the Earth (FoE) has a network of local groups across Scotland. FoE Glasgow campaigns on local and national environmental issues that affect the Glasgow area. Our group is made up of volunteers of all ages and from a range of backgrounds.
The group meet on the first Wednesday of the month at 13 Mirrlees Drive. See where this is on a Google map.
We meet 7.30 sharp. Please contact us if you would like to come along.
Guest Speakers
Guests speakers are occassionally invited along to the group to discuss topics of interest. The following speakers have been lined up for 2010.
January 13th
A member of an anti-GMO group will join us to discuss GM food and its reliance on Roundup.
February 3rd
Glasgow City Council sustainability officer Sonia Domingues will be discussing with the group how we can work together to make Glasgow a more sustainable city.
March 3rd
Dr Peter Waterson will discuss with the group the Optimum Population Trust.
